Moriah Day is a husband, father, and longtime 2nd Amendment advocate with a background in communications and political strategy.
Moriah was a member of the Board of Directors of the Kansas State Rifle Association (the state affiliate of the National Rifle Association) for several years. He now serves as the Executive Director of the organization. He also serves as Chairman of the KSRA Political Action Committee.
Growing up in rural southeast Kansas, Moriah has shot since he was first able to safely hold and operate a BB gun. He first started taking formal firearm classes in his teens and has continued his training over the years by taking classes in Basic Pistol, Advanced Pistol, Concealed Carry, and Church Security, to name a few. He is certified by the NRA to teach Basic Pistol and certified by the State of Kansas to teach the Kansas Concealed Carry class.
Safe firearm ownership and use has been a passion as long as Moriah can remember, and his goal is to instill that passion in as many others as possible.
